Mayor’s Christmas Tree Appeal
Burdekin Shire Council is honoured to announce the launch of the Mayor’s Christmas Tree Appeal, a heartfelt initiative dedicated to supporting families in need during the festive season. This annual appeal is a small but meaningful way for our community to come together, show compassion, and make a positive impact in the lives of those who need it most.
We warmly invite residents to contribute by donating non-perishable food items and gifts. Please see below for a full list of acceptable items for donation.
Donations can be dropped off at the Council Chambers or at the Ayr and Home Hill Libraries by Wednesday 11 December 2024.
Join us in spreading the spirit of generosity and bringing joy to local families this Christmas. Your support can make a world of difference.
