Food Safety
The Food Act 2006 and the Food Standards Code provide the direction for food business operators in relation to ensuring safe food is provided to the public.
Council's Environmental Health Officers are responsible for food business licensing, inspecting, fit-out, hygiene and handling as well as cleaning just to name a few.
