Burdekin Library closed for recarpeting
Burdekin Library is closing from 1pm Saturday 12 September, reopening 9am Monday 21 September to allow the carpet to be replaced.
The recarpeting of the Burdekin Library, originally scheduled to coincide with roof restoration works in July, will begin next week following delays out of our control. However, this means Burdekin Library will be closed to the public from 1pm on Saturday 12 September.
The library will reopen on Friday 18 September at 9am.
- We have increased the loan limits for members so they can stock up for the closure.
- The Tuesday TAFE computer workshop will still be happening, but access will bethrough the Music Loft rather than the Library.
- The Justice of the Peace service will still be available on Tuesday, but will be located in the Theatre Foyer.
We apologise for this incovenience, but look forward to welcoming you back into a fresh-looking library space.
