Fertiliser Bags

Farm Waste Recovery Australia (FWR) facilitates the collection and processing of plastic waste in regional Australia.  Their aim is to significantly reduce the number of landfilled polypropylene agricultural bags, reducing environmental damage and eliminating industrial pollution of fields, waterways and habitats.  Processed and recycled agricultural bags can be repurposed into other common everyday plastic products, such as outdoor furniture.

Burdekin Shire Council is not a collection point for fertiliser bags as Farm Waste Recovery co-ordinates the collections via chemical resellers and plastic recycling companies.
