Garage Sale Trail is a waste avoidance and reduction program which supports achievement of the Queensland Waste Management and Resource Recovery Strategy which sets out to achieve a 25% reduction in household waste by 2050.
The program is currently supported by 12 councils in Queensland including our neighbours Townsville City Council and Charters Towers Regional Council.
Burdekin Shire Council in conjunction with Garage Sale Trail are holding a Refresh for Less – Preloved clothing and accessories sale as well as a Boot full of loot sale at the Ayr Showgrounds Hall on 9-10 November and 16-17 November 2024.
So gather up your clothes and accessories that you no longer wear and bring a rack to the Ayr Show Grounds to sell in our Refresh for less – preloved clothing and accessories sale.
Or load up your car boot with your unwanted household items and set up a stall as part of the Boot full of loot sale.
No fee will be charged to hold a stall and stall holders can choose to take part on one day or more.
Spaces are limited and must be booked by registering through the Garage Sale Trail link below.
Alternately you can host your own garage sale from your home!
