Jules Sebastian tickets to go live this Wednesday
Social media personality and wellness advocate Jules Sebastian will headline a panel of local mental health and wellness speakers for Burdekin Shire Council’s Ladies Long Lunch on Sunday 20 March.
The event comes of the back of last weekend’s JTBelieve workshop for youth and Farmers & Friends men’s mental health evening, with a combined audience of close to 300 people.
Burdekin Shire Council Mayor Lyn McLaughlin said the Ladies Long Lunch was an opportunity not just to network with friends, but to take the time to focus on mental wellbeing.
“Council is excited to be welcoming Jules Sebastian to the Burdekin next month to share her own story and empower audience members at the Ladies Long Lunch – and while this event will be a great chance to share a laugh and a drink with friends, it also serves as an important reminder to check in on both our own mental wellbeing and that of our family and friends,” Cr McLaughlin said.
“A number of local panellists will also join us on the day, including Dr Amanda Marano, providing guests with the resources to know who to contact if they ever do need support.
“The afternoon will be paired with a delicious lunch menu and well-stocked bar, with a free mimosa on arrival. The Ladies Long Lunch is expected to sell out quickly, so I want to encourage everyone to get in quick when tickets go live this Wednesday.”
Burdekin Shire Council’s Ladies Long Lunch featuring Jules Sebastian will be held on Sunday 20 March. Tickets to the event will be available from burdekintheatre.com.au from 9am this Wednesday, 23 February. This event is proudly supported by the Queensland Government.
