Pools Re-open on Sunday 1 September
As the weather warms up, residents of the Burdekin region can look forward to a refreshing dip as local pools re-open for the season on Sunday 1 September.
Mayor Pierina Dalle Cort said that with the re-opening of these popular facilities, there will be updated hours of operation.
“The reopening of our local pools is always a highlight as the weather starts to warm up,” said Mayor Dalle Cort.
“Residents of the Burdekin region can look forward to a refreshing dip as local pools re-open for the season on Sunday 1 September.
“In addition to the re-opening, the Home Hill Pool’s amenities have recently undergone significant upgrades.

Monday to Friday: 5:30am – 10:00am and 1:00pm – 6:00pm
Saturday: 8:00am – 5:00pm
Sunday: 10:00am – 5:00pm
Public Holidays: 9:00am – 5:00pm (Closed Good Friday and Christmas Day)

Wednesday: 5:30am – 6:00pm
