Expressions of Interest open for food and coffee vendors at Burdekin’s Garage Sale Trail Event
Burdekin Shire Council is excited to be part of this year’s Garage Sale Trail, featuring the Refresh for Less preloved clothing and accessories sale, and the Boot Full of Loot car boot sale.
The event will take place across two weekends, on Saturday 9 - Sunday 10 November and Saturday 16 - Sunday 17 November 2024 from 9:00am – 1:00pm at the Ayr Show Grounds Hall.
As part of this event, Council is seeking expressions of interest from food and coffee vendors to attend on one or more sale days.
This is a great opportunity for local vendors to support a community-driven initiative while providing food and refreshments to event attendees.
Mayor Pierina Dalle Cort said the Garage Sale Trail draws significant community interest, making it an ideal venue for vendors to showcase their offerings.
"This event is not just about sustainability and reducing waste; it’s also a great chance for local food and beverage businesses to engage with the community and contribute to a lively, enjoyable atmosphere,” Mayor Dalle Cort said.
“We look forward to welcoming vendors who can help make the event even more successful."
Vendors interested in participating can contact Council's Waste Department on 4783 9800 or via email at waste@burdekin.qld.gov.au to request an expression of interest form.
Expressions of interest close on 21 October 2024.
