Council Expands Water Conservation Efforts with Primary School Visits
Council representatives have been visiting local Burdekin primary schools to engage students in interactive discussions about the importance of conserving water.
While Council has long promoted sustainable water use throughout the community, this latest initiative focuses on empowering the youngest members of our Shire with the knowledge and tools they need to make a difference.
Students had the chance to explore the ‘Blue House’ which is a fun interactive learning tool designed to inspire students to adopt water-saving practices both at school and at home.
