Burdekin Local Disaster Management Group has now moved to ‘STAND UP’ status as Tropical Cyclone KIMI continues to track in a southerly direction and at 1640 was located offshore north of Townsville.
The Burdekin Local Disaster Management Group (LDMG) moved to Stand Up in preparation for potential further heavy rainfall and damaging winds at a special meeting of core members this evening.
As a result of the unavailability of the Cleanaway Recycle Collection Truck, there will be changes to the kerbside collection.
